This new palette features 12 exclusive matte eyeshadows—you won’t find any of these shades in any other Naked palette! The shadows are encased in a stunning rose gold palette with a huge interior mirror and double-ended eye brush. If you’ve never tried our matte shadows, you’ll be blown away by how different they are. Other mattes can be “skippy” – uneven on application or difficult to blend. But EVERY shade in Naked Ultimate Basics features our proprietary Pigment Infusion System™, which gives the formula a velvety texture, rich colour, serious staying power and blendability.
The shadows include a range of warm and cool neutrals that blend easily together for all-matte eye looks or with the other Naked palettes. The range of shades in this palette is fantastic, it includes essentials like pale cream, soft taupe, warm brown and matte black along with a few more daring shades like terracotta, gunmetal and rose.
The shades include:
- Blow (pale nude)
- Nudie (nude pink)
- Commando (light taupe)
- Tempted (pale brown)
- Instinct (medium taupe)
- Lethal (burgundy)
- Pre-Game (pale yellow)
- Extra Bitter (burnt orange)
- Faith (medium warm brown)
- Lockout (neutral brown)
- Magnet (smoky grey)
- Blackjack (warm black)
The formula is beautiful!.. Matte eyeshadows can apply patchy or look chalky, but these are all beautiful, buttery and highly-pigmented. I experienced a teeny bit of fall-out when applying the darker shades like Magnet and Blackjack to my lashline, but expected even with the pigmented, quality shadows. Put it on your Christmas lists or treat yourselves! This palette is not to be missed! A great palette for maturing skin as it is extremely flattering or anyone who loves a matte shadow.
Available for £38.50 from Urban Decay or from all good beauty stores.
