I love the scent of this fragrance, it's lovely and delicate, a lingering sexy mist, the scent lasts a good 8-10 hours on me, but I can still smell on my clothes the morning after, the scent is beautiful. Perfect for spring/summer. I imagine this would make a gorgeous wedding fragrance as it just has something lovely and romantic about it.

Sunday Scents - Stella Summer by Stella McCartney.

Today's fragrance is Stella Summer 2013 which succeeds last year's edition Stella Summer Rose, it enchanted us with beautiful illustrations of misty rose flowers and a fresh composition with flowers and fruit. Without many changes in the ingredients, the new edition, Stella Summer 2013 in a stunning and bold bottle offers luminous and cold notes of frozen lemon combined with foamy aromas of green apple. The heart develops aromas of rose surrounded with peony, resting on a warm, comfortable amber base. I love this scent even though it is rose based it doesn't smell old ladyish.. It has a fresh citrus scent to bring it into the year 2000, it smells lovely and feminine, I always receive compliments when I wear it or a comment asking what it is, everyone I know loves the scent.  It was limited edition and am unsure to if it is still available to buy, but if not look out for this year's version as they are usually very similar!

The Body Shop Satsuma Beautifying Oil

OMG this Beautifying Oil is pure beauty in a bottle. It smells absolutely AMAZING! It's Made with a lightweight blend of nut oils including Community Fair Trade marula oil, it gives instant hydration and a shimmering finish. This one smells of fresh satsuma. For body, face and hair A little goes a long way. The fresh scent of Satsuma is beautiful, just like freshly squeezed fruit not synthetic at all, it lasts subtly all day leaving my Body and hair feeling soft and nourished... I've not tried on my face yet as I'm a little wary it may break me out due to having a scent but as it's a dry oil it's totally non greasy once applied, maybe I'll give it a whirl and see how I go.... It comes in a 100ml bottle, but you only need a few drops then rub between your hands to warm slightly and then apply to your chosen area! I normally hate fruit scented products but my oh my has this little beauty completely converted me.. I now want to try the scrubs, shower gels & sorbets from this range, it is just perfect for summer to brighten your mood, but also leaving you smelling yummy.. You can pick it up from the website or nip into your local store it retails for £9.00 which I think is a bargain!

Sunday Scents - DKNY Woman Energising EDT

I have had a very long love affair with perfume, I NEVER leave the house without a quick squirt of perfume.. I just love to smell nice!.. my collection is ridiculously large for just one person (I'm not boasting, just confessing!). I am always on the lookout for my signature scent.. So I decided to start a weekly post called 'Sunday Scents' each week I will review one of my perfumes, to hopefully help you?!

This week I am sharing with you DKNY Women Energising Eau de Toilette – the essence of the original fragrance, with a fresh exuberant twist. Lighter than the original, it feels like New York City on a sun-filled day. The top notes are a refreshing blend of citruses, chilled vodka and tomato leaves; the heart is a wet blend of water lilies, green coral orchids and yellow daffodils. And the sensual finish is a blend of white birch and tulip tree wool. It feels as modern and timeless as New York City itself.

A lovely fresh, clean, feminine fragrance that sticks around all day, it is such a pretty, delicate scent that packs a punch! Prices start from around £12.00 for 30ml.

Just a quick post to show you what I have painted my nails with today! As the sun is shining i went for a gorgeous neon pinky coral.. I absolutely love bright nails and this is one of my favourite shades to wear in Spring/Summer.

I absolutely love a bright, neon nail polish for Spring/Summer especially the latest Neon Pastel shades, they just look really pretty on any colour skin, they instantly cheer me up and brighten my mood, here are my top five.. It was really really hard to choose..

Summer Loving...... Fake Tans...

Over the last couple of week's we have seen the odd day of Sunshine & of course the good old British summer just around the corner, I have been baring a bit more flesh & as I am a lovely shade of pasty I thought I'd better slap on some colour!
Here are 3 of my top picks of the moment.

This Vita Liberata Moment by Moment Tinted Self Tan Mousse* is Perfect for girls on the go who don’t have time to wait for a normal tan to develop. It is a light and airy mousse provides a long lasting colour and a perfect fade, every time: Non-toxic and Organic, No streaking and no smell, 100% free from parabens, perfume and alcohol, Easy to apply, Unique moisture-lock complex, 80% organic extracts that are kind to skin and produce a natural fade (eventually!). What I like about this one as it allows you to decide what colour you'd like to be from Natural Sun-kissed to Intense dark, the end result is a gorgeous natural looking tan. It lasts a long time & really does fade naturally.
For a light SUNKISSED glow – shower after 1 hour. For a GOLDEN BRONZE tan – shower after 2 hours. For a LUSCIOUSLY DARK tan – shower after 3 hours.
This is £20.00 at the moment from a few online sites usual price is £24.50.

He-Shi Express Liquid Tan* is another great product for girls on the go, it  is a self tanning bronzer which tans instantly on contact with the skin, giving a lovely bronzed complexion with immediate results. He-Shi Express Liquid Tan is extremely quick drying due to its incredibly light liquid texture.  With its 'see where it goes' formula you can be confident of not developing streaks or patches. He-Shi Express Liquid Tan contains 6% organic DHA and can be reapplied by layering to achieve an ultra dark colour. This was possibly the easiest as it drys really quick so you don't have to spend time walking around flashing your bits waiting to dry before you get dressed! Great colour & fades naturally, this is another fake tan that you can build up to get a darker colour if required.

This is the ultimate product for a truly beautiful DARK*, DARK tan. Xen-Tan have pioneered the use of precious Argan Oil in this formulation - the concentrated liquid-lotion is even easier to apply and provides a silky moisturising feel. If you thought our Dark Lotion range was dark, you’ll be seriously surprised with Moroccan Tan! This is perfect for a night out to make you feel extra glam, it really is dark & makes me look like I've been to the caribbean for a fortnight! Great colour & fades pretty well too! This retails for £24.99.

With all the above tans I use a mitt to apply my tan & apply cream first to my knees, elbows, wrists, knuckles... Anywhere it tends to stick & would go patchy or streaky!

I really like the Summer editions, I tend to buy a new once each year, Last year Summer Rose was a little too flowery for me though, my Favourite edition was Sheer Stella 2007, It smelt different o the other's, I still have about 10 squirts left that I save for special occasions! This one is a lovely fresh scent so much lighter & easier to wear than her original Stella pefume.

I got mine from Fragrance Direct for £35.00 a bargain as it's rrp is £40.00 but I also got a 5% Discount by using code VC501. The bottle is absolutely stunning in real life, so pretty on my Dressing table!

Marc Jacobs Daisy eau So Fresh Sunshine

When i first saw this collection, i nearly had a panic attack! I NEED it in my life! Daisy eau So Fresh is a firm favourite, but the bright Neon bottle & pink perfume... Ah! I want it soooo bad!

Essie nail Polish in Camera

Lights! Camera! Action! Poppy-Razzi is inspired by the neon fever sweeping across runways, celebrity fashions and more! This collection consists of four electric shades that were SO incredibly difficult to capture on camera.

This was another bargain £2.99 from Fragrance direct :) 

 

This is Camera from the Poppy-Razzi Collection. Essie Camera is a bright Coral toned pink neon jelly. Wow this polish is pretty. It is eye popping bright, squishy and juicy. I love this colour. Coral has got to be my all time favourite, i love my Models Own in Hedonist & Orly's Passionfriut but OMG this polish is so stunning!
