Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette

With its sexy neutrals and captivating brights, this fun four-shadow palette can roll with you from the office right into your next hot date. Smoldering brown Darkhorse shadow was previously featured in the much sought after Naked Palette, and the coppery Suspect triumphed in the Book of Shadows. Verve is a pale oyster shimmer that also makes a great highlighter! Woodstock, a hot pink best-seller, is as perfect at the beach as it is at a bar.

The palette contains 4 eyeshadows,

Woodstock is a dark fuchsia pink with a soft frost finish.

Verve is a pale, muted taupe brown–like a lighter Mushroom.
Suspect is a muted champagne bronze with a frost finish.
Darkhorse is a dark, sultry bronze shimmered brown.
Aswell as a miniature Lip Junkie Lipgloss & a 24/7 Glide-On Eye liner.
Crush is a semi-sheer magenta pink.
Whiskey is a medium-dark, warm-toned brown.

I have never been disappointed in the quality and pigmentation of the Urban Decay eye shadows. My favourite shades from this palette are Verve and Suspect, they are perfect to wear all over the eyelid with just some eyeliner and mascara, its such a fast and easy look to do.

I like that they have added Woodstock as a pop off colour to this palette. I think it brings something fun and different to the palette. I know some people don't like it but I actually think its pretty cool, not sure when I'll be brave enough to wear it though!.

Another great Palette from Urban Decay!!

l'oreal infallible eyeshadow sahara treasure

I've been eyeing up the L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows for ages, cooing over swatches online and looking at them every time I went into my local Boots.

After much thought, and drooling over the many amazing colours they have, I decided to try a shade that I knew I would be more likely to wear on a daily basis. That would mean picking
a gold, bronze or brown shade.

#021 Sahara Treasure.

It's a kind of blonde gold, although it does swatch a little warmer when applied.

The texture of these is amazing, so smooth and creamy but not greasy like a typical cream eyeshadow. It claims to wear for 24 hours.

All the other shades i liked are not for sale in he UK so i had to buy from Ebay, i chose:

Amber Rush.
Iced Latte
Bronzed Taupe.

I will do a review & swatches once i receive them.

Have you tried these, do you like them?

Topshop Neon Rose Blush

I have always had a love - hate relationship with cream blushes.

This blush costs £6 for 4g of product, so it is relatively inexpensive. It comes in a cute black box and the packaging sturdy and very cute, with a handy mirror included. On the website this blusher is labelled as being a coral colour. But i think it leans more towards the pinky side of coral.

This blusher is cream in the pan but dries as a powder on the cheeks! Which i wasn't aware of,  i was expecting it to give me a nice glow and it didn't - it finishes pretty matte! Although this is definitely more natural looking than a powder blush.

I do like it, but i'm not sure if it has changed my mind with cream blushes, i can recommend mixing a little on your lips with a lip balm for a lovely coral lip!

Available to buy for £6 from TopShop

Nars Blush/Bronzer Trio

It comes in a Stylish zippered compact nylon case with a huge mirror, which is handy for travelling – not a big fan of the design but at least the nylon will be more durable than the usual rubber case which I'm definitely not a fan of!

This trio of Iconic classics together we have NARS Laguna with NARS Orgasm (a shimmery peachy golden pink) & Albatross (a shimmery ivory with a pale gold )

This was a ltd Edition, but i have seen a few still available on Amazon & Ebay, Also keep an eye on Blogsales.

Chanel Blush horizon De Chanel

I had been looking at this for a while as it was part of the Spring 2012 Collection, but couldn't justify spending the full £46 on it. But i managed to pick this little beauty up in a Blogsale Bright Town Girl was having a few months ago for a bargain price.

It's Described as A soft glow blush of five tones inspired by the radiance of the horizon at the light of dawn and as the sun sets. As the light changes throughout the day, the shades of garnet, pink, white, dark peach and light peach entice you to adapt your makeup look to the time and your mood.

As you would expect with a Chanel product, the quality is incredible. The shades really come together to create a wonderful pop of pink with the most brilliant sheen. It applies so well and blends to create such a beautiful flush. I think it looks lovely against fair skin especially when paired it with pink lips.

I am really happy i bought it, I love Chanel, i personally think it is overpriced, but you pay for the name & the Luxury i just love the packaging & everything about the brand.

If you would like to have one of your very own, it is still for sale at Selfridges for £46.00

NYX Runway Collection - Champagne & Caviar

The colours in this palette are timeless and elegant. This palette contains a nice array of soft neutrals for fair-skinned cool-neutral toned ladies like myself. I find that I reach for this great palette very often for a lovely/wearable daytime look!

This palette provides all the shades you need for a totally classic and elegant look that can easily go from day to night!

These shadows are soft, about "medium" pigmentation (the effect here is soft and subtle), and blend-able, but a little bit powdery. But, I'm not complaining as they apply so easily! I think this would be a great palette for beginners because of the ease of blending with these shades. Also a great palette for anyone who loves neutrals or needs an "easy" daytime look.

A fab little palette with a great mix of Creams, Taupe's, Browns in Matte & Shimmery shades.

Are you more of a natural or a colour girl?

Chanel illusion d'ombre

I am in love with the Illusion d'Ombre eyeshadows, of which there are six, they are quite possibly the prettiest little pots of metallic magnificence I've ever seen and completely are irresistible

The product comes in a small box and has a mini eyeshadow brush to apply the product with. I personally use my finger to apply & then blend the crease with a fluffy brush.

It's hard to describe the texture, but they are more solid than a cream, bouncier than a gel & not creamy like a mousse. They are just Perfect!

The shade Emerveille (82) is a beautiful soft peach with a golden Champagne shimmer. Looks amazing alone when doing a quick makeup. I love to wear on the inner corner of my eyes.

The Shade Fantasme (81) is a pretty bright white with silvery-white shimmer.

The shade Ebloui (86) is a lovely reddish brown with gold shimmer, leaning to burgendy in certain lights, very shimmery

The shade Illusoire (83), a stunning purple with grey undertones and multi-dimensional sparkles. it's very sparkly but not in an over glittery way, it's more metallic in finish than sheer sparkles, just beautiful!

The shade Epatant (84) is a gorgeous silvery Green with Taupe shimmer, looking subtle & elegant.

The shade Mirifique (85) is an amazing midnight black with Lots of shimmers, which are multi-coloured, with larger silver sparkles. Looks great as a liner or smoked out.

The colours are soft and subtle, with an edge of smokiness, and due to the shimmer they look to be more than just one flat colour, they easily take on different tones depending on how they’re worn and the undertones in the skin.

Very long lasting, easily 12 hours on me & that's without a primer as i always forget to apply it!

Physicians Formula Happy Glow & Mood Boosting Bronzer, Powder & Blush

This review covers the blush in Rose, the Translucent powder, and the Bronzer.

These Powder compacts are very cute & girly, the compacts are bright, reflective, pink plastic. They have flip-up lids, and on the inside, you’ll find the powder on the top layer and a compartment underneath with a brush in it. The brush has bristles in two pink colours.

The blush gives a very nice, bright, pink colour to the cheeks and blends in well. Even though the powder looks very shimmer in the pan, the shimmer is more toned-down on the skin.

The translucent powder is ideal for use as a highlighter. I would not recommend it as an all-over face powder because it is noticeably more shimmery than the blush or bronzer. The shimmery effect is quite pretty. The shimmers are very fine and look very nice on the skin.

The bronzer, despite being the Lightest shade in this line, it provides a subtle bronzing colour, perfect for the Fair & the very fair. Even though the pan has shimmers in it, they’re not really noticeable on the skin.

The Powders are nice smooth and blendable, also smelling really yummy it reminds me of Parma violet sweets? but the smell does not transfer onto the face.

I'm not sure about the claims it boosts your mood but the packaging make s me smile!

Marc Jacobs Lola EDP

I really like this perfume, but think it suits this time of the year better as it's a lovely warm not too sweet scent.

It's described as a modern free spirit with an irresistible attitude. Relax, cool and confident. Sexy with a flirtatious wink.

The bottle is so pretty & would look lovely on any dressing table.
I'm not to good when it comes to describing smells but here are the Notes.

Rose, Fuchsia, Peony, Geranium

Pink Peppercorn, Pear, Ruby Red Grapefruit
Vanilla, Warm Tonka Bean, Creamy Musk.
I noticed lately that a lot of my fragrances has pink peppercorn in them, not sure if it gives the perfumes a distinctive scent?

Available from any department store starting at £36.50 - but i found my latest bottle on Ebay brand new for £29.00 so pretty happy about that!

Do you have a signature scent?

NOTD Models Own Purple Passion.

I first saw pictures of this on Google and they all looked so bright & sort of Neon, so was a bit surprised when i opened my Package with my order as it is darker Than i expected.

It’s a lovely rich blue shade of purple that manages to have a lot of red in it, but still comes out on the cool side. I really do think that this would be flattering on anyone and everyone.

I don't own many purples as i'm more of a pink or coral girl, but i do like this for Autumn as it still has a bit of brightness to it.

Can you recommend any purple nail varnishes?

NYX - I Dream Of Nevis

I Dream of Nevis is a beautiful neutral palette. I am loving the matte vanilla, shimmery taupe, and the deep brown. The beautiful shades transfer quite nicely onto skin - pigmented and smooth, but with a little fall out.

First shade: It is a matte vanilla colour, it is very smooth and very pigmented, it is perfect to use as an all-over lid colour as well as a highlight shade.

Second shade: A matte skin-tone with a bit of a greyish undertone to it, it is amazingly pigmented, you could use it as a lid colour or a crease colour too.

Third shade: A frosted taupe colour with flecks of very fine silver shimmer, without it being too obvious as it gives a sheen on the lids rather than a sparkle.

Fourth shade: It is a shimmery silver colour with sparkle and tons of shimmer, it doesn't stick to the lid! It has lots of fallout so my least favourite of the palette.

Fifth shade: A matte deep brown shade, could also be used as an eyeliner, for a more natural look, a lovely warm colour.

All in all a lovely little palette with nice shades to create day or night looks.

Nars Multiple in tuomota

I have always wanted to try a Nars multiple, but decided not to part with my cash as cream blushes & bronzers aren't really for me.
I purchased the Chanel Bronze universal tan de soleil or whatever it is called now! As everyone was raving about it, i was so glad i did as i love it - but that's for another post......
I then saw a Youtube video about this product & it was described as the Travel friendly version of the Chanel tan de dada!! So i had to have it. I started to look for it, but no luck on Nars website, eventually discovered it had been....... Discontinued. I nearly cried!! After lot's of searching I eventually tracked one down on Ebay - brand new :)

It is a bronzing multiple that is matte. I took one look and one swipe and I was sold. This colour is PERFECT for my skin tone, the perfect tan and the perfect contour colour. It is FANTASTIC! It is so natural looking. I am really impressed with this colour. I have no idea why it was discontinued as it is perfect for fain skin tones & the ones they do sell are either too dark or shimmery?

Wet n Wild Walking on Eggshells

Here is another Palette i have been looking at for a while & trying to figure out the best way to get my hands on it!

It is such a lovely palette with 3 stunning eye shadows that are creamy & pigmented for the price they are a steal, They blend amazingly well & last well for hours without fading or creasing.
like all Icon palettes they have the Brow-bone, crease & Eyelid printed into the shadow, which is a little strange if not obvious but good for beginners?

Now to the shadow shades you get a pearly champagne eyelid shade, a slightly metallic bronze crease shade, and a shimmery pale beige brow-bone shade. It's a beautiful neutral everyday palette. The champagne shade reminds me of Urban Decay Sin, it's also a good dupe for MAC Naked Lunch or Stila Kitten. The bronze shade looks similar to Urban Decay Smog, or often compared to MAC Cork and Mulch. The beige shade looks like Urban Decay Virgin, and some people say it's a dupe for MAC Shroom or Nylon.

The packaging is slightly cheap looking but for the price, i can over look that! All in All a great little palette.

Have you tried Wet n Wild, What's your favourite product?
