When choosing your Wedding Make up you need to decide whether you want to go for a dramatic smokey eye or even a Neutral eye with a nude lip, or a neutral eye & a bold lip, You want to keep your make up simple as the dress is the main feature, here are a few Lip products I've been loving recently.

It has a slight vanilla scent, which is really nice & feels really hydrating on the lips. The formula is not sticky at all & is very creamy-it glides on like a dream. Mine is in Scarlett a gorgous bright red, it is opaque in one swipe & has great lasting power, I also have intimacy which is a browny nude shade. £8.00

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector, A softly textured lip gel with a deliciously sweet scent. Lips are left looking soft, smooth, shiny and plump. Sheer, but has enough colour to wear alone or to complement your favourite lip shade. These just glide on & leave your lips loveable & kissable - Perfect for your first kiss! £17.00 

Of course I have my Chanel & Dior Lipsticks which I love, but I thought I'd show some budget friendly options. I am really loving the Lip Crayons, Revlon, Bourjois, Soap & Glory, MUA, etc have all brought out their own versions of the original Clinque chubby stick, they are smooth & apply easily also being small & compact - Perfect for touch ups.

Wedding Make up.... Bronzer

When you are choosing a Bronzer for your big Day, I would recommend going for a matte shade, this will allow you to not only contour your face making the shape more defined for pictures but also for adding colour. I like to use a cream bronzer under my foundation & then add a little powder bronzer to add extra shape to my face especially under my cheek bones & chin! It doesn't matter what budget you have there are some great products out there, here are a few of my favourites.

The velvety finish of this light cream-gel bronzer leaves your skin with a beautiful sun-kissed look. Wear it on its own to enhance your complexion, or for a hint of outdoors radiance, over or under your Foundation. This is my favourite multiple I wear mine in Tuomoto & the colour is perfect for my skin, the product just melts into my skin creating the perfect shadows. This bronzer is brilliant, cheap in price but the product is quality, it gives a great natural shade & has no shimmer. £13.00 for 10g

A great bronzer at a Budget price, Let a little sunshine into your life for cheap, with NYC New York Color Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder. It glides on easily for a sheer bronze glow that looks like you just stepped off the beach. It is easy to use everywhere and is perfect for quick touch-ups throughout the day. This is my daily go to bronzer, It has a great matte finish & looks very natural on the skin, it can also be built up for a more night time look. £3.00 for 10g

With all bronzers you need to apply little product & blend as it is easy to add colour than take away! They can dramatically change the shape of your face by enhancing your natural features instantly slimming & contouring your face especially when you use along with highlighters.

Wedding Make up..... Setting Powder

When choosing your powder you need to look for one to compliment your foundation, whether you choose a coloured or translucent shade.. There are some great powders that contain tiny reflective particles that give the impression of flawless skin by reflecting light over your face helping to disguise fine lines and skin blemishes.

You don't have to use a powder, you can skip this step but by using powder you will set your liquid foundation, keeping it looking fresh & Flawless. You need to just give your skin a light dusting & make sure you blend it in properly to prevent you looking cakey, the powder is purely there to keep you looking shine free, you could also try using it lightly in your T-Zone to see if it prolongs your make up or invest in some good Blotting paper Sheets.

Wedding Make Up..... Concealer

Concealer is your friend! It helps to conceal imperfections such as dark circles, discolouration & blemishes - Anything you want to disappear, making your face appear flawless for Pictures... There are lots of different types of concealer the creamy liquid concealer work best under the eye as the are easily blended in, be careful when applying as too much will lead to creasing & this can sometimes make your eyes look crepey. For under eyes get a concealer one or two shades lighter than your foundation to give a brightening effect making you look wide awake, but for concealer for spots etc get a similar shade as your foundation to blend & hide rather than draw attention to them.

When choosing your Foundation for your Perfect Day there are a few things you need to consider, it needs to be natural looking, have good Longevity, be a perfect match to your body.... Don't be shy go to a few department stores & ask for some samples (That's why they have them) and test them out over a day or two, take photos of yourself outside in natural light to make sure you don't get flash back from the SPF or that it doesn't oxidise throughout the day... as I'm sure no one wants to look like a Casper the Ghost or an Oompa Lumpa in their Wedding Pictures!

There are so many different foundations all offering something different, just sample, sample, sample until you find your perfect texture, cover & result! But If your not a fan of medium to full coverage foundations try a BB or CC cream I love Pür minerals CC Cream, Dior BB Cream & Liole BB Cream the provide lovely coverage that will even out your skin tone whilst still looking very natural.

Also like I said in my Primer Post, if you splurge on a great primer you could get away with wearing a Drug Store foundation as there are some fantastic ones out at the moment that are under £10.00!

Each of the primers mentioned although quite expensive, I think that if you were going to splurge on one item in your Make up bag, this is probably the step to spend it on as if your base is anything but perfect your foundation & other make up won't sit right or last very long - Dry skin will look hydrated & a primer should keep the face a shine free zone if you have combination or Oily skin.
