L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow Iced latte

Here is another of the amazing L'Oreal Infallible eye shadows,
I am loving these at the moment. Unfortunately this is yet another colour that is unavailable in the UK, Which is So annoying... I had to purchase on Ebay for the USA..

Iced Latte is a beautiful, metallic light neutral with a slight golden undertone. The actual formulation of these shadows is very much like pressed eyeshadow pigments.

The textures are different (Iced Latte is more metallic), but this is definitely a great drugstore shadow to get that really intense highlight going in the inner corners of the eye.

This is the most stunning drug store eye colour i have ever seen , it is long lasting, crease proof as far as i can see it is faultless!

Have you managed to get your hands on any?

L'Oreal 24Hr Infallible Eye in Amber Rush

The "Infallible" eye shadows from L'Oreal are becoming more and more popular. It's difficult not to fall in love with them because the colours are vibrant, pigmented, quite creamy and truly are infallible that doesn't crease, fade or budge at all. It's such an affordable luxury in a small pot!
The only problem i have is that the UK does not stock the nice colours as i had to track this one down on Ebay...

What i love about these little pots of loveliness :

The colour. It's a great all over lid colour for day or night time.

The metallic finish. It gives a really pretty highlight on my lids, especially when light hits it.

It really is infallible. It doesn't crease and stays put all day/night without a primer.

I didn't have any problem blending the colour. It was very easy to blend.

It has a creamy texture to it

A Stunning easy eye look, in a stunning Rose gold colour! I'm in love :)

Have you tried any of these little pots of lushness?

Have Beauty Boxes had their day?

£240 (£120) is how much i would (have) wasted this year on Beauty Boxes & that's not including postage!

I remember when Beauty boxes first came onto the scene in 2011, There was such a buzz around them, i know i was gutted when i missed out on Glossy Boxes 1st ever box with it's full sized Nars product (marketing ploy) & other luxury brands, i did however get the next one, month after month i stuck with it some months receiving a good box & others a rubbish box.

I think i didn't cancel as i tried to convince myself the next one would contain something amazing & I'd miss out - How wrong was i!

Then Boudior Prive/Jolie box appeared, I joined up & got their 1st box, This box had promise containing brands I'd not heard of, it had really luxurious products samples of £100+ face creams from lots of expensive High end brands. it was great but again the great boxes became good boxes & have slowly got worse. But at least i was more happy than disappointed with these boxes.

I got Glossy boxes Birthday box & then cancelled my subscription as the boxes were getting progressively worse & the boxes are so unfair! Everyone paid the same but the value of the boxes differed massively some people getting boxes worth £40+ but others not even scraping back the £10 they'd spent!

I understand it is a sampling service but the companies are charging you for sachets of creams & tiny vials of perfume that anyone can pick up for free at a local department store, the tiny samples are also gone in one use, so you are unable to use a few times before you decide if you like it enough to buy the full size?!

I will be receiving my last Jolie box of the year anyday now & from the review i have seen it will be a let down, so i think my Beauty box days are over & i will save my money to spend on something i really want/need & will actually use, as my draws are fit to burst with samples of  disgusting smelling perfumes or creams that aren't suitable for me!

I also tried She Said Beauty & Feel Unique but cancelled after one box.

I know i am not the only one who feels like this as Beauty Boxes Twitter & Facebook pages are full of complaints about the boxes, customer service, brands, products etc...

Have you had a good or bad experience with BB's?

Charles Worthington strength and repair kit

My hair isn't in great shape as you are probably all aware from recent posts! I'm always on the look out for a miracle product! I noticed this & decided to try it as it had 33% off, it should of been £19.99 which i think is quite high for a drugstore brand, but i got it for a little over £13?.

It is supposed to Restore dry, damaged and fragile hair with this salon-inspired hair repair treatment. ,Enriched with our unique Renovoil Complex, it is scientifically proven to strengthen hair and reduce breakage by 93%, giving you stunningly silky hair, all from the comfort of your own home.

It is a 3 step process & you get enough product to apply on 4 separate occasions.

Step 1) Hair repair oil.
All you need to do dispense a couple of pumps into the palm of your hand and work through your hair. I applied it about halfway down my hair and mostly on the tips. It comes in a pump bottle which means there is no mess.
you then put on one of the plastic hair caps (4 provided) to "accelerate the penetration of oils deep into your hair cuticles".  Leave for 5 minutes, i left mind on a little longer as my hair really needs help!

Step 2) strength and Repair Shampoo
Just like a normal shampoo, lather and rinse. This smells lovely.  It leaves your hair feeling very clean too.  By this point, I have to say, I didn't really feel a massive need for the next step, my hair already felt super soft and silky.

Step 3) Intensive Hair repair Masque
This masque is applied to wet hair, and left for 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Again you could leave on longer if your hair needs it.

It did work & my hair felt in better condition, i don't think i would go as far as saying it is a hair 'Miracle' but if you are looking for something to give your hair an extra boost for the party season then this may be for you?

What's your 'Miracle' hair product?

NOTD Models Own Emerald Black

Today i am wearing Models Own Emerald Black, I really like this colour as it looks just like any old dark polish until the light hits it & then you get a stunning greeny turquoise shimmer running through your nail.

It is perfect for these winter months, Emerald Black,is described as a bold blackened midnight peacock. Also looks stunning with a glitter top coat for an extra bit of sparkle!

What colour will you be wearing this Christmas?

Fan di Fendi EDT

I got a sample of this in my Glossybox 'Harrods' edtion & fell in love with the perfect tiny version of the original & then the scent, it is a lovely light & fresh but warm & sexy scent. unlike a scent i own & I'm a bit of a perfumeaholic!!
I can't describe what it is exactly but one smell & i was hooked. I used the sample & purchased the 30ml a month or so ago.
It's described as A radiant floral scent resting on a leather base, this wildly exciting eau de parfum pays tribute to Fendi's expertise with materials such as fur and leather—plus the arty, rock and festive spirit that defines Fendi. It diffuses Roman sun and electric nights, leather and roses, luxury and seduction.

Notes - Pear-blackcurrant Accord, Tangerine from Calabria, Pink Peppercorn from Reunion Island, Damascena Rose, Yellow Jasmine Accord, Patchouli from Indonesia, Soft Leather Accord.

I have noticed that most of my favourite scents contain Pink Peppercorn, so maybe that note draws me in....

Are you a Fendi Fan?

Luster Pink Shampoo & Conditioner

My Hair is rubbish! It is very thin & quite dry/damaged due to having PCOS & over dying, Straightening etc. I am always on the look out for a new 'Miracle' product that will turn it from this into a magnificent mane of thick beautiful hair!

I was on Boots website a couple of weeks ago looking at Argan oil products & an intensive conditioner when i noticed Luster Pink in the side bar, so i curiously clicked  as I'd never heard of the brand before.

It was advertised to REVIVE & PROTECT- Vitamin E repairs weak, damaged hair and protects against damage from styling tools and environmental damage.
SUPERIOR MOISTURE CONTROL
ProVitamin B5 hydrates and strengthens from inside-out locking in vitamin-rich humectants for all day moisture retention.

As they were only £3.05 each & you get 500ml of product, I thought i would order them & give them a whirl! i have now used them both 3 times & really think i can notice a difference, my hair feels in better condition, less fizzy & a little thicker!
They seem to have quite a large range of products so i am going to try a few more especially the hot oils & intensive conditioners.

Have you tried this brand before?

Are you a vera Wang Princess....

I also managed to grab Vera Wang Princess Rollerball eau de toilette 6ml from Fragrance Direct for £4.99, An amazing bargain as it's usually £20.00!! It isn't my preferred scent, but i think it is nice enough & it's perfect for my handbag.
Vera Wang Princess Rollerball eau de toilette spray for women is a miniature rollerball version of the signature scent, which opens with top notes of mandarin, apricot, green apple and water lily, fusing with a heart of tuberose, guava, chocolate and tiare flower, finally rounded off with a smooth base of amber, vanilla and woody accords.

I really love the rollerball design & really really wished they would catch on & become more available in the UK!

At the moment discount code for Fragrance Direct, use code VCODES10B2 for 10% off. No minimum spend!

Are you a fan of rollerballs?

Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash

The Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash includes 5 Travel sized jumbo eye shadow 2.5g  pencils, which i managed to pick up from Fragrance Direct for £12! - Bargain..

The shades you get are :

Delinquent is deep violet with lilac sparkle.

Rehab is a dark red-toned chocolate brown with a tiny bit of taupe.

JuJu is a pale, gilded taupe brown.

Sin is a light pink-beige champagne with a frosted shimmer.

Clash  is a stunning bright blue with silver  sparkle.

They're crease & waterproof, If you're familiar with their 24/7 eye liners, then you'll fall in love with these. I really like these because of how easy they are to wear, use and how long lasting they are. Also, I find that these are more pigmented than the eye liners.

I normally use them alone but they’ll happily mix with any of your favourite shadows, pigments, or minerals to act as a base. Worn alone or with shadow on top I experienced a very long lasting eye look for more than eight hours straight.

If you are on the look out for something like that, at this price they are definitely worth it & would give some amazing Christmas party looks!
