L’Oreal Infallible Sculpt Collection - review and Swatches.

it’s a foundation that is the texture of a tinted moisturiser, it is only available in two shades for £8.99. I have the lighter shade, I was pleasantly surprised just how well it covered my redness and freckles. It Provided the perfect base for my contour, a Light coverage base that has Smart Pigments to match the skin’s colour, it also builds to a perfect level of blendable coverage. It leaves me with flawless-looking skin without caking as it has grip technology which fuses with your contour for a long-lasting sculpted finish. You can wear as a primer/base or as your foundation which I think is great depending in the look you prefer.

Real Techniques Collectors Edition Sculpting Set.

Another amazing value set from Real Techniques which includes three brushes - Sculpting Brush, Fan Brush and a Setting Brush - Accentuate your favourite features, create defined contours for added depth, or simply enhance your natural bone structure with RT's Collector’s Edition Sculpting Set. With the use of light and dark makeup shades, this set gives you the flexibility to transform your look.
Each brush is a special design: a sleek, high-shine pink instead of the classic matte.
  • sculpting brush: features a wide, angled head specially designed to help create defined contours
  • fan brush (exclusive to set): softly sweeps on powders + whisks away any excess makeup for an even finish
  • setting brush: the key to completing any look with a controlled dusting of powder or highlighter
They certainly don't disappoint, I love every single one of them.. I've never owned a Fan brush as thought they were rather pointless, but once I'd tried it to apply my highlighter.. I'm a complete convert! It just applies like a dream making my highlighter look so much more natural, as it leaves such a light dusting of the product. The setting brush is also great for contouring the sides of my nose if I choose to do a full on face contour otherwise I just use to set my under eye powder.. The sculpting brush is perfect for contour & 'Sculpting' my cheek bones.. A great set for everyone.

Available in stores now as released March 2015 for £19.99.

Wedding Make up.... Bronzer

When you are choosing a Bronzer for your big Day, I would recommend going for a matte shade, this will allow you to not only contour your face making the shape more defined for pictures but also for adding colour. I like to use a cream bronzer under my foundation & then add a little powder bronzer to add extra shape to my face especially under my cheek bones & chin! It doesn't matter what budget you have there are some great products out there, here are a few of my favourites.

The velvety finish of this light cream-gel bronzer leaves your skin with a beautiful sun-kissed look. Wear it on its own to enhance your complexion, or for a hint of outdoors radiance, over or under your Foundation. A great cream bronzer, you need to use a light hand & slowly build the colour as this can look a little orange if your not careful.£31.00 for 30ml

The Bronzer Multiple, is a cream-to-power, multi-purpose makeup stick. You can apply with fingers, brushes, or directly from the stick itself. The bronzer shades of The Multiples are designed to help naturally bronze or sculpt the face/cheeks. This is my favourite multiple I wear mine in Tuomoto & the colour is perfect for my skin, the product just melts into my skin creating the perfect shadows. Full Review can be found HERE. £29.00 for 14g

If you want to learn more about Contouring & Highlighting to help make the most of your features & help any flaws disappear... then read my post HERE. Or just to give you a couple of extra tips.

This honey-enriched pressed bronzing powder from The Body Shop gives skin an even, bronze matte natural looking finish, it is a lovely smooth powder that can be used to contour or add colour. This bronzer is brilliant, cheap in price but the product is quality, it gives a great natural shade & has no shimmer. £13.00 for 10g

A great bronzer at a Budget price, Let a little sunshine into your life for cheap, with NYC New York Color Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder. Soleil Tan de CHANEL Bronzing Makeup Base - Bronze Universal.

Soleil Tan de CHANEL Bronzing Makeup Base is an incredibly flattering bronzer that comes in a velvety smooth creme-gel formula, that literally seems to glide effortlessly on application, to melt seamlessly into your skin.

This is a truly universal shade indeed  - appearing neither too orange, red, or yellow, but a perfect contour colour that will suit practically every skin tone across the spectrum, the effect is so subtle, this is great for fair skins.

It looks very orange at first glance, but it blends away very nicely and is pretty much foolproof. Once on the skin it is absolutely matte – there’s no dewy finish. it just disappears into the skin as though you’ve just dusted on a fine layer of extremely pale bronzing powder, the product  just becomes part of the base.

I apply mine with my Real Techniques stippling brush & wear it underneath my foundation, this gives an amazingly natural contour. Then once I've powdered i will put a light dusting of NYC 'Sunny' over the top to add a little more for nights out.

I really wished they would release this in a travel size (Similar to the tester in the stores) as the packaging as stunning as it is, is just impractical as it is so bulky, but until then i will continue to use my Nars multiple in tuomoto for travelling.

Being a Chanel product, this is a little pricey at £30 for 30ml, but it is a seriously beautiful product, it looks amazing and I imagine it will last a long while.

Nars Blush/Bronzer Trio

It comes in a Stylish zippered compact nylon case with a huge mirror, which is handy for travelling – not a big fan of the design but at least the nylon will be more durable than the usual rubber case which I'm definitely not a fan of!

This trio of Iconic classics together we have NARS Laguna with NARS Orgasm (a shimmery peachy golden pink) & Albatross (a shimmery ivory with a pale gold )

This was a ltd Edition, but i have seen a few still available on Amazon & Ebay, Also keep an eye on Blogsales.

Nars Multiple in tuomota

I have always wanted to try a Nars multiple, but decided not to part with my cash as cream blushes & bronzers aren't really for me.
I purchased the Chanel Bronze universal tan de soleil or whatever it is called now! As everyone was raving about it, i was so glad i did as i love it - but that's for another post......
I then saw a Youtube video about this product & it was described as the Travel friendly version of the Chanel tan de dada!! So i had to have it. I started to look for it, but no luck on Nars website, eventually discovered it had been....... Discontinued. I nearly cried!! After lot's of searching I eventually tracked one down on Ebay - brand new :)

It is a bronzing multiple that is matte. I took one look and one swipe and I was sold. This colour is PERFECT for my skin tone, the perfect tan and the perfect contour colour. It is FANTASTIC! It is so natural looking. I am really impressed with this colour. I have no idea why it was discontinued as it is perfect for fain skin tones & the ones they do sell are either too dark or shimmery?
