Scrub Love - Mint Temptation.

I love to give my skin a good exfoliation at least once a week and usually buy scrubs in tubes or tubs, but when I was offered to try a dry coffee scrub I was intrigued! Rub coffee all over your body to exfoliate?! ....It is amazing! My skin felt tingly, cool and super soft. The minty coffee scent definitely woke me up.. Not very good at nine o'clock at night! This is definitely one for waking you up in the morning... The next day my skin felt even softer and this continued for several days after.

With it's perfect blend of organic ingredients and a mint kick will leave anyone tempted.. Tea tree mixed with amazing argan oil will cool and moisturize. While more than a hint of mint will stimulate circulation with this organic scrub - leaving you polished to perfection.

Ground coffee is nature's finest exfoliator. It’ll buff away dead skins cells without damaging the delicate new skin underneath. A high caffeine content in our fresh grinds stimulates circulation, to promote healing in problem areas.

Peppermint oil - Naturally anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and pore cleansing leads you to a clearer complexion and minty freshness.

Tea Tree oil - You didn’t know your skin needed this, but we did. It’s antiseptic properties make it great for healing and softening, plus it helps soothe tired muscles.

Dead sea salts are Full of minerals, magnesium and potassium, it’s the best salt to scrub and rub on your skin to stimulate and relax deep into the tissue.

Argan Oil - The reputation precedes this not-so-secret celebrity favourite. High in fatty acids and vitamin E, it’s easily absorbed into your skin to moisturize and combat dark spots - leaving your soft and glowing!

Aloe Vera Is Famous world round for it’s anti-septic cooling and healing properties. It’s also packed with vitamins A, B, C & E and Beta Carotene which give it anti-aging properties as it nourishes your skin.

I am super impressed, I now include this in my weekly pamper session.. I can't wait to try the other fragrances.

Available in Mint, Original and coconut, you can pick them up from Scrub Love for £12.95

La Roche Posay Rosaliac CC Cream

Since this CC Cream dropped on my door mat from Escentual.com it has been on my face, it is AMAZING! Within seconds of applying it my red, blotchy skin has become a flawless base for me to apply the rest of my make up onto, I have even skipped concealer as the coverage for me is brilliant, it seems to lighten and brighten my face, which to me is perfection! It is also paraben-free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic formula is suitable for all skin types. Made with a pared back formula and a high concentration of selected active ingredients, the cream is highly optimised for reactive skin.

Designed by La Roche-Posay this Rosaliac CC Cream* provides you with cover and correcting cream for sensitive skin prone to all types of redness, whether occasional or persistent, dispersed or localised. A universal tone that blends naturally into fair to medium skin and conceals to correct the appearance of shades of redness. Glides quickly over skin, streak-free, it literally melts into my skin leaving behind a lovely, very natural finish it also contains a great spf 30 meaning you can skip a step in the morning - bonus!

The cream is quite think but isn't a problem as it blends easily, meaning a little goes a long way, it also doesn't leave any residue and is non greasy, it has a scent which shouldn't offend anyone, it reminds me a little of sun Cream this could be due to the high spf? It's quite a clean fresh scent which I like, this retails for £19.50 but is currently on offer on Escentual.com for £16.55 as they have 1/3 off French skincare. This already has earnt itself a place in my suitcase for May when I go to Sicily. I am really impressed!

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream

The Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream is actually a pretty lightweight cream that could be used for everyday. It sinks in fairly fast and did'nt leave any residue behind. While it's substantial enough to be used as a night cream, but I I think it would also work well as a day cream for people with more drier skin under makeup. I've tried it both as a day and night cream, with no problems, It also seems a little thinner than some of the other Kiehl's creams I've tried, the Ultra Facial Cream also has no fragrance, which is great.

The ingredients for the Ultra Facial Cream are also really great if you're looking to moisturise your skin. The key ingredients are water, as well as Glycerin, very useful in skincare. Also ingredients that help to moisturise the skin. These include Squalane, another excellent moisturising ingredient, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, which is an ingredient that helps with moisturising the skin, and improving the texture of the cream, Sucrose Stearate, another emollient, and Stearyl Alcohol, which despite the "alcohol" in its name is actually not drying to skin - it's a fatty alcohol, which helps to moisturise the skin. because so many emollients in the cream mean it could be pretty heavy-feeling, Ultra Facial Cream is packed with lots of humectants and emollients, to give you great hydration, while still feeling light on the skin. There are also some plant extracts, the main ones being Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Persea Gratissima Oil, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, and Oryza Sativa Bran Oil, great additions as natural moisturisers for the skin.

So if you're looking for a cream that offers great hydration with a solid formula, if you're looking for a value for money purchase that's effective, then this is worth checking out, I do think this cream is pretty good it didn't make my Normal/combination skin greasy and would be great for dry/sensitive skin as it is really nourishing. Available at Kiehls.co.uk from £24.00, I am really loving this brand at the moment the products are brilliant and I am seeing real improvements in my skin, the next face cream I have my eye on is the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream! It sounds amazing.. *adds to Wishlist*

Urban Decay Naked Skin ultra definition pressed Finishing Powder

It’s the next evolution in Naked Skin. The powder with the World's longest name!..... Designed to be virtually invisible once applied, our high-tech, jet-milled powder has an insanely silky texture that feels amazing on your skin. Optical blurring pigments instantly minimize imperfections, diminish shine and create a stunning soft-focus effect that looks professionally retouched.

Unlike powders that leave skin looking chalky or cakey, Naked Skin Finishing Powder gives you a radiant complexion and NATURAL-looking Naked coverage. It feels like silk on the skin, so soft & creamy.

The packaging is a gorgeous gunmetal and champagne custom compact it is lovely looking, it even has a Naked-embossed push button. The top compartment includes a full-size mirror, perfect for on-the-go touchups and a separate compartment underneath holds the applicator sponge. When you’re done applying, just slip the case into the pretty carrying pouch to keep it protected in your bag.

The colour 'Naked Light' is a perfect match for my skin & gives me a flawless finish, I usually use the sponge to dab the powder where I need it, then I blend the powder in & out over the rest of my face with my RT powder brush. It has pretty good lasting power on my face, I can get a good 7-8hrs of shine free face.

It is quite expensive for powder at £22.00, but it's Urban Decay and for a high end brand it's about average and I expect to pay it, the packaging is ultra sleek which is an added bonus when I need to powder my nose in public!

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser was released in Asia earlier this year and Now it has popped up in the US. I'm really hoping that it comes across the pond to the UK, reviews have dubbed it a dupe for Smash box & Benefit's porefessional primer, so I really have high hopes for it, If it is anything like the baby lips it will be fairly priced.
Translucent gel primer blurs the appearance of enlarged pores, lines and other imperfections to create a matte and flawless canvas for makeup to glide. Mattifying formula keeps skin feeling and looking fresh with a baby soft feel, improving the staying power of your foundation while creating the look of a more refined and smoother skin texture..

  • Skin looks instantly transformed into a perfect smooth canvas.
  • Skin is shine free, even and baby smooth for all day.
  • No burden to skin.
  • Mistake proof.
  • No mirror need.
  • Does not clog pores.
  • So light, you forget it's on.
