Urban Decay Ruby Rose Collection - #Lipstickismyvice

Urban Decay have released a HUNDRED! lipsticks old and new, with Ruby Rose as the face of the launch, I was very excited to be sent five stunning shades from the collection, I just knew they were going to be amazing and as you can imagine with 100 lipsticks you'd have lot's of beautiful shades and finishes to make your little hearts flutter! 

The Vice Collection combines everything from new shades to cult favourites you thought you'd never return and several shades which were inspired by other lip products, Eyeshadows and Eye Pencils.

Encased in their iconic Urban Decay packaging, vice lipsticks come in a beautiful gunmetal bullet-like casing with a gold base the stamped lettering adds a little something extra. In true Urban Decay style, each lipstick also features the embossed UD.

The five shades I received are -

BackTalk - is a Comfort Matte finish and is described as being a mauve/pink nude lipstick with cool undertones, I'd say it had a slight satin finish, certainly a shade that anyone can wear. This is my pick of the bunch as I'm more of a neutral lip lover - sorry! 

714 - this shade was originally released in the Gwen Stefani collection, it is such a stunning shade. With a Mega Matte finish, 714 is bold, it is bright and it is described as being a medium-dark red with warm orange undertones, it is a stunning shade and I did enjoy wearing it.

Firebird - is a cream finish and is described as being a deep fuchsia with cool blue undertones which just gives it a perfect finish, due to the blue it brightens teeth making them look whiter, this is my favourite bright shade and again was in Gwen's collection.

Pandemonium - is a Mega Matte finish and is a very dark, almost red toned purple which has a satin finish.  I'm on the fence with this one, it is definitely out of my comfort zone! But the lipstick itself is highly pigmented and lovely to apply.

Big Bang - is a metallized finish and is described as being a bright pink sparkle shade. It is a raspberry pink shade with quite subtle, cool undertones and it has a light pink micro-glitter which reflects amazingly in the light. A gorgeous sparkly lippie that feels comfortable on your lips, I couldn't feel any glitter particles, this is one pretty looking shade. 

At just £15 a lipstick and with 100 shades to choose from there are shades for everyone whether your mood is looking for bold brights, Vampy or subtle neutral shades, they are available in 6 different finishes,

Now you can sculpt your lashes with New False Lash SCULPT. In just one stroke, sculpt 3 effects: tight line at the root, volumise at the core, fan-out at the tip. The unique comb-brush fills in between the lash roots, like a liner would, for a full volume, tight-lining effect with no gaps - when I first saw the wand I thought I wouldn't like it as I assumed too much product would come off.. But I was pleasantly surprised! It made my lashes look fuller, longer and darker which gave the impression of thicker lashes. This will give you great lashes to flutter at your loved one! I did find this product to be a little bit drying, I would recommend using a moisturising lip balm before applying. I really enjoyed wearing this lipstick at night, creating a nice bold, bright lip. Bright lip colours are really trendy for this summer, I really love Coral - pastel or neon. This Shocking Coral colour is beautiful, perfect for spring/summer to brighten up your face giving a simple make up look a big Wow!!

I have about 4 of these lipsticks but today I'm talking about Red Siren 101, which is a gorgeous bold and beautiful crimson that adds a touch of Hollywood glamour, it is a beautiful (matte) deep true red, it looks a little lighter in the photo, it glides on like butter and has pretty good lasting power. This is a perfect shade for the party season to bring your LBD to life!. They are £10.00 which is a little higher than drugstore, but the pigment and quality could easily match a high end lipstick, making it a pretty fair price.

Bare Minerals marvellous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready

Moxie Marvellous Get Ready* is a lovely neutral rosy pink shade, that looks great with a smokey eye or a simple day look, highly pigmented & easy to apply, I really have enjoyed trying it out. This range has some gorgeous colours to suit everyone from neon reds to deep dark plums to nudes, you really should check them out, you can pick them up from the Bare Minerals website for £16.00 or other online sites.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Chance

This is the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in the shade 'Chance' (#56). Rouge Coco Shine is a range of hydrating sheer lipsticks that feel light and glide with ease on the lips; the lipstick almost feels like it's melting on your lips! It has the potential to keep your lips hydrated for 8 hours due to the Hydratender complex, which is, supposedly, the secret behind the softness of the Rouge Coco range.

I chose the shade 'Chance', a soft pink shade with a warm coral tint, as it is such a pretty easy to wear shade, I can't fault this lipstick. It's super soft and moisturising and the staying power is pretty good for a lipstick that leaves so much moisture on the lips.

This is such a Gorgeous nude Pink with a little shimmer in the most beautiful packaging, I love everything about this product & I'm never ashamed to whip it out of my Handbag to reapply when i'm out & about! (If fact i do it even when i don't need to!)

Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids - Mac Dupe?

I bought Shocking Coral 870, which some are saying is a dupe for MAC Party Parrot? i don't own so can't compare but from the pictures I've seen it's a pretty close match! Now bright goes gorgeous, never garish.Brighter colour with exclusive vivid pigments.Creamier feel from nourishing honey nectar. 

This colour is a seriously bright coral perfect for brightening up a miserable dark day in winter or a splash of colour in summer with a tan!

I was instantly drawn to it & had to purchase it there & then, i also liked Neon Red 890, but it was not a colour i could wear easily.

The lipstick is lovely & creamy, but i would say it is slightly matte?, very bright & highly pigmented. It feel pretty moisturising on the lips, i did notice it stained my lips which for me is a good thing as i didn't need to reapply.

I bought mine from boots for £7.19. But they only had 3 of the available shades in my local Boots.
