Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation 1.5

Introducing All Nighter Liquid Foundation! makeup that stays up. It’s the ultimate foundation for a flawless-looking complexion that won’t quit.  All Nighter Liquid Foundation provides full coverage with a modern matte finish that never looks overdone. Get all-night wear and a blown-out effect you never thought was possible for a flawless-looking complexion that looks amazing and stays that way.

~ Full Coverage
~ Full pigment
~ Waterproof
~ Paraben free
~ Absorbs oil to reduce shine
~ Oil Free
~ Matte but not flat
~ 3x as much pigment as Naked Skin Foundation
~ Diffuses light to blur flaws
~ Long lasting
~ No SPF
This foundation offers amazing! Coverage, you only need a small amount and within seconds my skin had full cover, looked smooth and flawless! Only thing I would add is it dries quick quickly so you need to blend, blend and blend before it dries but I found applying it no different to how I apply my other foundation. Concealer and all other products sat over it beautifully!
It is matte, however it isn’t totally flat and it doesn’t dry with any kind of powdery finish at all. It contains light reflecting pigment which helps to give the skin some life. If you have dry skin you’ll need to moisturise and prime, or with all matte dense foundations it can highlight areas of dryness and texture.
Lasting power is generally really good. I’ve tried this over a few days with different primers and finishers and found it wears better with powder over the top, and a mist of setting spray for true super long lasting coverage, I would say you'd get a good 12hrs+ wear, for super oily complexion you may need to blot or powder to keep you looking super matte.
If you are looking for something full for nights out or a special event, looking to create a flawless even base, are oily skinned, or are looking for lasting coverage for acne, rosacea, pigmentation or similar, I’d say you can’t go wrong with this one, especially as it contains no SPF it photographs beautifully with no flashback.
Available in 24 different colours to choose from, so a good range from porcelain through to deep from most good beauty stores including Urban Decay For £27.00.

Let them think you were Born This Way.

  • Coconut Water helps delicately replenish skin’s moisture levels without overhydrating—for the look of radiant skin
  • Infused with the resilient Alpine Rose to brighten the skin’s appearance and promote elasticity
  • Hyaluronic Acid helps balance skin for a smoother, more youthful appearance.
I totally LOVE this foundation, it leaves my skin looking flawless! It is just beautiful, my only complaint which is tiny is becareful if buying online as the shades are quite difficult to choose as I had Porcelain which I thought was the lightest shade but it is actually 1-2 shades darker than vanilla? So I would suggest gong in store or getting a sample before buying yours. But I can still wear Porcelain, I just use less and sheer it out and it looks fine. I will just use it in the summer months as it lasts all day and absorbs my oil .. I just can't praise this foundation any more.. It is currently my HG foundation for all weathers and occasions. If you're looking for a foundation that is super comfortable to wear all day and fantastic coverage, this is definitely the one for you!!! I've tried so many foundations and this one stood out to me the most. it feels like you're wearing absolutely nothing while giving you flawless looking skin.

Available for £29.00 as all good beauty stores.

Clarins Extra Comfort Foundation in Ivory 103.

The newest offering from Clarins is part of the Extra Comfort range and is best described as an anti-ageing product that aims to replenish and illuminate the skin in one quick step. The packaging is more luxe than your typical Clarins foundation, and comes presented within a frosted glass screw top jar that looks great on your dressing table but is rather bulky, so not at all ideal for traveling or carrying around on a daily basis. But you could simply put a little scoop in a small plastic jar (with the spatula provided) & popping in your make up bag for when your on the move? I personally am happy with it being a jar you can use every last bit, so none is wasted, you also have more control over the amount of product you use daily. Its exclusive anti-ageing formula plumps, moisturises and nourishes the skin deep down with a combination of organic Argan oil and the Global Age-Defying Complex. The skin instantly feels suppler and more comfortable. Wrinkles and fine lines are smoothed. The complexion is left glowing with youth.

Organic Argan oil: nourishes the skin and leaves it feeling comfortable.Global Age-Defying Complex: leaves skin feeling supple, smoothes fine line and wrinkles. It boosts hydration, increases skin comfort and suppleness.Light Optimising + complex, a Clarins exclusive: instantly captures, diffuses and amplifies light. Fine lines and minor imperfections are visibly reduced. The complexion is left even-looking and radiant.Triple protection: fights free radicals, pollution and UV rays.

It offers up to 14 hours of hydration, The finish of Clarins Extra Comfort Foundation* is dewy with a slight glow that gives the impression of light within skin - much like a skin illuminator without any traces of glitter or shimmer, it really is a beautiful finish. It made my skin feel moisturised and plumped with the light literally bouncing off my skin. Despite being creamy it didn't sink into my fine lines and lasted all day with only a touch up of powder on T-Zone after about 7 hrs & I was good to go! I can see this being my go-to foundation in the colder months.
It is £35.00 available from Clarins.co.uk

Bourjois Happy Light Foundation & Concealer

Lights, Camera, Action!
Bourjois launches Happy Light, a new range that lights up the complexion for a radiant effect, without a shadow of imperfection. To bring you the most luminous of make-up solutions, Bourjois has created To bring you the most luminous of make-up solutions, Bourjois has created two new serum primers, a luminous foundation and a pro-quality concealer…

I picked up the Foundation & Concealer from the range, The texture of Happy Light Foundation is supple and so melting that it fuses with the skin and ensures an undetectable finish, with no masking and without a heavy or oily feel.

The ultra-fine and soft powders contained in the formula have been specially chosen for their softness and velvety feel. Also Flexible, the foundation becomes one with your facial expressions, without a stiffening feel, giving you 8hrs hydration.

The concealing power enhances the radiance of the complexion while concealing its imperfections, without thickness. It absorbs then reflects the light: the complexion takes on a new found radiance.
And, since they blend perfectly with the texture of the skin

The ultra-supple compact texture of Happy Light Concealer enables a targeted application, using a
finger or a brush. Multi-action, it conceals dark shadows and blemishes while illuminating. And even though it's the product with the greatest coverage of the range, Happy Light Concealer knows how to stay undetectable! This doesn't go into my creases it just melts onto the skin improves the area &
dissapears!

These Concealers really remind me of the Bobbi Brown Correctors/creamy concealers, I'm seriously hoping for a dupe here as £6.99 they are so much cheaper than BB's price!!.
(First Impressions) I am really impressed with both products, I love the original Healthy Mix & this reminds me a lot of it, but this has a more luminous effect on my face similar to the L'Oreal Lumi Magique foundation. I picked mine up from Superdrug as they were both on offer without around £4.00 off the retail price, so if you want to try them out it would be a good idea to grab them now.

I didn't pick up any of the Primer's but here is a little info about each one....

Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer - For normal to dry skin, an illuminating, moisturising version. With its light-as-air texture, Happy Light luminous primer leaves the skin soft, comfortable, moisturised and replumpedThe complexion is immediately illuminated!

Happy Light Matte Serum Primer - Specially created for normal to combination skin, Happy Light Matte Serum Primer is also endowed with a treatment serum texture. It leaves the skin feeling velvety and enhances the skin texture: the pores are refined and the complexion is mattified in all lights.

Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin SX03

I have been wanting to try Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer for a very long time but couldn't justify paying out £36.00 for a teeny tiny pot (18g) of foundation... but the lure of this 'cult' product that was created to mimic the appearance of healthy, radiant skin. It is a multi-tasking formula for creating a gorgeous, flawless complexion. - I Finally gave in & here we are......

It can be used as a spot foundation, concealer, all-over foundation, highlighter (choose a shade lighter than your actual skin tone) or mixed with your moisturiser for a tinted moisturiser effect - the possibilities are endless! Honey and jojoba oil create a soft, dewy finish as well as lend themselves to the formula's silky texture.

It may be applied with the fingers, a brush or a sponge (wet or dry) for any desired finish. I apply mine with a damp Beauty Blender & I get a perfect even flawless finish, It is the most bizarre -( I love that word!!) Product I have ever used it is so Thick but you need the smallest amount (The teeny tiny pot will last months if not years!) as it covers amazingly well & considering the consistency, once applied it looks so natural - Like Skin!

The Only thing I'm disappointed in, Is ME! For not buying it sooner, I love it & reach for it nearly everyday, but the one thing to consider is it isn't a 60 second job to apply it, it takes time as the more you blend & Thin out the product, the better result you will get! The Sensual Skin Enhancer leaves the complexion with a fresh, flawless finish.

Beauty Blender

I don't know what is so different about the Beautyblender application over my fingers or a foundation brush, but this little teardrop sponge does an outstanding job of providing me with a flawless perfected finish when applying my foundation and concealer.

It's so simple to use. Just wet the sponge thoroughly until it doubles in size and squeeze dry. Squeeze again ( I do this on my towel), It is important to squeeze the sponge into something absorbent because you want it just slightly damp. Another tip is to squeeze using your whole hand, you want to avoid catching nails etc on it which could tear the sponge. I put four dots of foundation on my forehead, cheeks and chin,  I then do a dab & roll motion until all foundation has been blended onto my face.

Once Ive applied my Foundation & Concealer I usually just apply a little of the BB cleanser & give it a quick wash, I do this for two reasons first being for hygiene & the second is to prevent the sponge from getting stained from the foundation. Then I allow it to air dry for the next time I need it.
I am really happy I got this in my Birch Box as at £16 I thought it was rather expensive, but now I've tried it & seen the outcome I will definitely buy another when I've dabbed the life out of this one!

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

Have you heard.....There's a new foundation on the block, so i thought I'd give it a whirl! I have had Revlon colourstay in my collection for a while & think it is a great long lasting Drugstore foundation but a little too heavy for me to wear on a daily basis.

When i heard of this foundation i was intrigued, with SPF 20, it's perfect for the day, lasts like colourstay but with a light/medium coverage.
I got mine in Shell 130 which is a very good match for my skin. It's quite neutral in colour, not too pink or yellow.
