The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

The Body Shop add to their Vitamin C Skin Care collection with Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser, it has been formulated to pep up tired, dull skin and create a lit from within glow without the need for shimmer particles. This lightweight gel, water based moisturiser gently hydrates skin - perfect for oily to normal skin and maybe even dry complexions with a serum, whilst clarifying and aiding a natural glow to the face. The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser not only cools and calms the skin but also absorbs immediately making it the perfect day wear choice - it also does not interfere with the texture or finish of any make-up applied on top. It leaves my skin plump, nourished and looking fresh - great if like me you are lacking in sleep. The fragrance is gentle and fresh, not strong or overpowering. In my opinion the only downside is that this does not contain an SPF.. But most foundations contain them now or you could simply add one to your morning routine?.

Another great product from The Body Shop available for £16.00.

The Body Shop - VITAMIN E EYES CUBE LIMITED EDITION

As most of you are probably aware I became a new Mummy again for the second time to another gorgeous Girl six weeks ago today, she likes to wake up several times a night for a little gossip over a bottle of milk!... As I have to get up and be ready to leave the house for 8.25am to take my eldest to school, my poor little eyes look like 'pee holes in the snow'.. So as you can imagine I'm a little tired these days and require a little extra help in the skincare, make up area... I discovered this little beauty and can now not live without it..

It's a little miracle! In just one gentle sweep over each eye, it instantly revives and refreshes them to fight signs of tiredness caused by dryness. Enriched with wheatgerm oil, one of the highest natural sources of vitamin E, the Eyes Cube protects the eye area with moisture.

  • Enriched with wheatgerm oil, a source of vitamin E
  • Cooling, lightweight application for instantly revived and refreshed eye area
  • Super gentle on the eye area, with a non-sticky texture and easy-glide application
  • Handbag-friendly format for on-the-go touch-ups
It makes me look and feel wide awake due to the cooling sensation it provides, leaving my eyes looking and feeling moisturised and fresh instead of a zombie! I also love the pink and blue packaging it's so cute :)

It's available now from The Body Shop for £8.00, but at the moment it is limited edition, I really hope it becomes a permant product in the near future!

Do you have any tips to look more refreshed?

The Body Shop Glazed Apple EDT.

 ‘
'Tis the season to smell delicious!' You can Smell good enough to eat this season with this mouth-watering fragrance. I was really excited when I saw this fragrance was going to be released as I love the DKNY apple range and was hoping this scent would be similar.. But when I actually got to spray/smell/wear this I fell in love at first spritz it is very sweet, appley and fresh but then once it settles it is a little more citrusy, then it goes a gorgeous sweet/musky scent lovely and warm but still light & fresh if that makes sense?!. It is such a playful scent and for only £8.50 for 30ml you can't go wrong!
It is perfect for all seasons not just for Christmas! I think it would be lovely in summer as it has the citrus to keep it light.

The Body Shop Satsuma Beautifying Oil

OMG this Beautifying Oil is pure beauty in a bottle. It smells absolutely AMAZING! It's Made with a lightweight blend of nut oils including Community Fair Trade marula oil, it gives instant hydration and a shimmering finish. This one smells of fresh satsuma. For body, face and hair A little goes a long way. The fresh scent of Satsuma is beautiful, just like freshly squeezed fruit not synthetic at all, it lasts subtly all day leaving my Body and hair feeling soft and nourished... I've not tried on my face yet as I'm a little wary it may break me out due to having a scent but as it's a dry oil it's totally non greasy once applied, maybe I'll give it a whirl and see how I go.... It comes in a 100ml bottle, but you only need a few drops then rub between your hands to warm slightly and then apply to your chosen area! I normally hate fruit scented products but my oh my has this little beauty completely converted me.. I now want to try the scrubs, shower gels & sorbets from this range, it is just perfect for summer to brighten your mood, but also leaving you smelling yummy.. You can pick it up from the website or nip into your local store it retails for £9.00 which I think is a bargain!

The Body Shop - Vitamin C microdermabrasion

microdermabrasion simply is a technique that uses tiny rough grains to rub away the outermost layer of the skin in order to improve the overall appearance. This at-home microdermabrasion boasts of making the complexion bright and improving your skin's texture.

Fine exfoliating micro particles and crushed garnet stones remove dead skin cells to reveal a brighter, more radiant complexion.
  • Removes dead skin cells
  • Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth
  • Gives skin a brighter, more radiant look
  • Improves skin texture and tone

Its advises on the tube that this microdermabrasion technique should only be used once or twice weekly. As this is actually a harsh procedure and gives effective results with use over a period of time. I think once or twice is fine as if you over use your skin would become sore as even though the grains are fine you can feel them on your skin exfoliating away the dead skin cells. It has a lovely fresh subtle citrus scent which I really like, the price is £13.00 for 75ml which I think is a fair price.

Are you a fan of microdermabrasion?
