Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Creme

I've used many of the Ole Henriksen products other than the Truth serum and the truth to go and the pore refining wipes which I think are really good, so when Escentual asked if I wanted to try this I immediately said yes! As I know his products are amazing..

This cream is an in-depth nourishing cream, it balances and brightens your skin while you sleep, infused with youth- enhancing ingredients to smooth the texture of your skin whilst fortifying the skin’s natural barrier, it will Re-texturise and renew your skin overnight, its an regenerative treatment for evening use only. Packed full of skin-renewing ingredients, this hydrator keeps your skin supple and soft with comforting Shea Butter, a healthy and rich emollient, while Vitamin C boosts collagen production.
At the heart of the formula is the Alpha Hydroxy Complex, super enriched with potent glycolic, lactic and fruit acids that deeply penetrate your epidermis to encourage cell renewal and reveal smoother skin. The Fruit Acid Complex, a concentrated cocktail of bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange and lemon lightly exfoliates your skin’s surface, breaking down the bonds of dead skill cells and boosting elasticity of the skin’s surface.
I have been using Ole Henriksen invigorating night creme* £47.00 every night for the past 3-4 weeks and love it so much.. It just melts into your skin leaving it feeling like silk.. In the morning it looks clear. And bright, feeling so soft and hydrated!.. I think this night cream is hydrating, firming and luscious! It has helped to literally transform my skin from dull with large pores, and sun damaged to youthful and radiant looking! It's like a little miracle in a pot.

This product as well as all of the Ole Henriksen products are available from Escentual.

Marlenha Flourish Moisturiser

I have been using the newly branded Flourish cream by Marlenha, which contains Hyaluronic acid and Collagen beads it is said to boost the skin’s radiance. My skin drinks up this light weight cream instantly absorbing it in seconds, leaving my wrinkles looking smoother, restoring my combination skin's moisture balance, After the first week of using Flourish Cream in my evening routine, my skin felt much firmer, hydrated, nourished and look's rested. It's unbelieveable!.... Marlenha is a beautiful brand, the products look and feel like quality, the results are amazing, I definitely know when I miss it out of my evening skincare routine, the texture of Flourish is a luxurious thick cream but is very light when applied it feels beautiful on the skin, it just melts in, leaving no residue, stickiness or greasiness. The scent is light and delicate.

La Roche Posay Rosaliac CC Cream

Since this CC Cream dropped on my door mat from Escentual.com it has been on my face, it is AMAZING! Within seconds of applying it my red, blotchy skin has become a flawless base for me to apply the rest of my make up onto, I have even skipped concealer as the coverage for me is brilliant, it seems to lighten and brighten my face, which to me is perfection! It is also paraben-free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic formula is suitable for all skin types. Made with a pared back formula and a high concentration of selected active ingredients, the cream is highly optimised for reactive skin.

Designed by La Roche-Posay this Rosaliac CC Cream* provides you with cover and correcting cream for sensitive skin prone to all types of redness, whether occasional or persistent, dispersed or localised. A universal tone that blends naturally into fair to medium skin and conceals to correct the appearance of shades of redness. Glides quickly over skin, streak-free, it literally melts into my skin leaving behind a lovely, very natural finish it also contains a great spf 30 meaning you can skip a step in the morning - bonus!

The cream is quite think but isn't a problem as it blends easily, meaning a little goes a long way, it also doesn't leave any residue and is non greasy, it has a scent which shouldn't offend anyone, it reminds me a little of sun Cream this could be due to the high spf? It's quite a clean fresh scent which I like, this retails for £19.50 but is currently on offer on Escentual.com for £16.55 as they have 1/3 off French skincare. This already has earnt itself a place in my suitcase for May when I go to Sicily. I am really impressed!

Topshop Highlighter in Polished

Polished is a cream highlighter - It's a really pale champagne colour with an iridescent gold shimmer running through, when applied it doesn't look glittery at all, it just gives a really lovely natural glowing highlight. I apply this with my fingers and a little bit goes a long way.

It blends really well over my make up, it doesn't rub my foundation off or clump together or sit on your skin looking obvious, It really does make you glow, giving you a more youthful look. I also like to put a tiny bit on my cupids bow & under my brow as well as on my cheek bones to just add a little something extra!. This is the first cream highlighter I've tried as I always leaned towards powder as I found it easier, but this little pot of loveliness has got me searching for other highlighters I may have over looked in the past.

This little jar with a screw top lid is £9.00 from Topshop which is a good price as this will last you a good few months if not years!

bareMinerals Renew & Hydrate Eye Cream.

Powered by our proprietary ActiveSoilTM Complex, this formula revitalises skin and boosts moisture leaving the delicate eye area looking smooth, refreshed and luminous. Unique electrolyte delivery system optimizes your skin's ability to absorb and retain moisture, resulting in smoother, healthier-looking skin We formulated our skincare to perform expertly with our foundation to give you a younger-looking complexion over time. As I have got older I have noticed my under eye area has become increasingly dehydrated, and as one who laughs quite a lot, I have developed more than just fine lines, My fine lines seem to have all but diminished, In general my whole eye area looks more hydrated.

Our proprietary ActiveSoil Complex represents a new generation of active minerals with extraordinary skin-renewing benefits, including faster cell turnover and helping to protect against environmental stressorsProven to reveal brighter, smoother, younger-looking skin and reduced fine lines and wrinkles. I Love how quickly the cream is absorbed, leaving my skin feeling soft and fresh, I haven't been using bareMinerals Renew & Hydrate Eye Cream* that long but I can already see a difference in the skin around my eyes. I'm sure that this is helping and I'm positive that with longer use I will see a marked improvement.

As the cream is thick I tend to use this at night, but I have used during the day when I was looking a little extra tired due to a late night & my foundation went over it perfectly and stayed put, so it could definitely be use for both day & night, but at the moment I am using another day eye cream up. This sells for £23.00 which is about average for a good eye cream, it should also last a while as you only need a tiny amount. bareMinerals have free delivery at the moment, use code XMAS1 at the checkout.

Transformulas Marine Miracle Crème

This rich marine cocktail with Lysedine heals and transforms the complexion while reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Marine derived ingredients, including seaweed, algae and sea salts, flood the skin to enhance skin firmness, elasticity, plus rejuvenating nutrients help strengthen the cell structure, resulting in younger, healthier looking skin.

Marine Miracle Creme floods the skin with rejuvenating nutrients and works to help relax the dermal layer, resulting in less movement and fewer expression lines.
The Ageless Range - The Fab 4, consists of Glycol Primer, Skin Tightening Tonic, Cell Support Serum and Marine Miracle Creme.* They all work in synergie together giving you optimum results and long term benefits. The collection was formulated to work together, like “flower food working together with cut flowers to prolong their life”. Excuse the basic explanation but we do find it simply and the best way of explaining the benefits of how the Tonic and Serum, along with the Creme work. Like changing the water and adding the food regularly – prolongs the effects and maximizes the benefits seen and felt.
Marine formula loosens expression lines
Fades lines and lessons wrinkles
Tightens and firms your skin
Hydrates, heals and restores with vitamin E3 properties
Ultra -hydrating
Aids cell structure rejuvenation
Gentle effective and safe
I have been using this cream for around two weeks now and am starting to notice little changes, my fine lines are looking less obvious, but I think I need to use the whole jar before I decide if it is a 'Miracle' cream it is expensive at 50ml for £69.95 a pop but if it does what it says on the box then It's a price worth being paid. I'll update once I've finished trialling it, but so far it seems to be doing something!

Heal Gel Face

HealGel Face is an exceptional anti-ageing formula designed to smooth, firm and replenish to give instantly plumper, revitalised looking skin. This step-changing complex acts like HealGel Intensive to rescue unhappy skin, but then takes its transformative effect to the next level.  Arnica and Madecassoside are suspended in liposomes with powerful peptides and biodynes to initiate a uniquely soothing and collagen boosting process.  HealGel Face* also contains a unique blend of Omega Oils to replenish dehydrated skin and restore elasticity.  To this another vital dimension is added; a powerful three part hyaluronic acid complex provides a plumping and tightening effect.

This feels lovely when you apply, it's silky and smooth cream Gel texture, the scent is quite medicinal but in a good way. You only need one pump to cover your face and neck leaving smooth, supple, healthy looking skin. I have really enjoyed using this along with Hydraluron and the HealGel Eye cream, my skin has improved massively reducing my fine lines by plumping up my skin making it look more youthful! I think these three products with be in my skin care routine for the foreseeable future!
If you want to invest in this product, it is a slightly hefty £48.00 for 50ml, but a little goes a long way and like the eye cream the packaging may be plain but the product definitely does ALL the talking.

Supaskin Super Hyaluronic Cream

This looks like an ordinary, simple Cream but this Super Hyaluronic Cream is the ultimate nourishing cream for smoother, softer, younger-looking skin. it's comprehensive formulation for superior hydration is proven to harmonize skin’s hydrous flow as it regenerates and protects against environmental factors. Combining the highest concentration of Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, and new sugar technology.

This cream is such a great product my skin loves it! It makes it look & feel younger, my fine lines especially around my eyes do seem to look reduced as it plumps out my skin, It doesn't have a scent, the cream is really light & is absorbed straight into my face once applied. I will definately be repurchasing Super Hyaluronic Cream* as it is possibly the first cream that has actually made a difference to my skin, My face is so much smoother & brighter.

They say it Provides intense hydration, Stimulates new cell growth, Improves elasticity, Dramatic reduction in fine lines and wrinkles & I would agree!

It says it's For normal to dry skin - but I'm Combination & it has been perfectly fine -No oiliness or extra shine. I use in the morning and the evening. Applying a thin layer to skin and allowing it to dry before I apply my Make up or go to bed.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush

I treated myself to the new Sugar Crush Fresh and Foamy Body Wash, £6.50, and the Body Butter, £10.50 as it was on 3 for 2 in Boots. I had £17.22 on my Advantage points card & thought why not!
The body scrub was sold out :( so i got 2 body washes. (I'm sure i will be going back for it & back ups!)

Sugar Crush.
Fresh, zesty & irresistible
Satisfy your sweet tooth with our zesty lime fragranced range featuring a mouth- watering Blend of Kaffir limes, sparkling lemons and juicy mandarins complete with a gourmand base of sweet vanilla musk and coconut oil.

I really like soap & Glory products, but i am not to keen on the scent of the original one, but OMG! When i took a sniff of this i was in heaven! It smells of a creamy lime cheesecake, i didn't know whether to lick it or slap it on my arm!

The Foaming body-wash is a velvety soap in a huuuge 500ml pump bottle & leaves your skin so moisturised & makes the bathroom smell delicious.

The Body Butter, is a luxurious treat, and is especially great to apply after exfoliation. It has the exact same smell as the body wash, and, also like the body wash, is super creamy. The cream itself is a really thick consistency, but despite this, it sinks into the skin so well instantly dissolving once you rub it a little. Leaving just smooth gorgeous smelling skin!
