Tips for keeping Hair Healthy....

1. NO Fad Diets! - A well-balanced diet is the best way to keep your hair healthy and strong. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, nuts, brown rice, beans and pulses,  and you’ll have tresses in top condition in no time. Also drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated.

2. Pay careful attention to how you wash your tresses: rub shampoo into the palms of your hands and distribute evenly, lather and repeat with half as much shampoo. Rinse and apply a matching conditioner mainly to the ends and mid-lengths. -  Reduce the impact of heat styling with a good protector spray or balm. Choose a non-greasy product that won’t weigh your hair down.

3. Apply a deep conditioning treatment. You can use deep conditioning treatments like olive oil, argan oil, avocado oil or Coconut Oil - Use a leave-in conditioner at least once a week. Leave-in conditioners penetrate deep into your hair cuticles to heal them more completely. Try a spray leave in conditioner/ detangler after you shower. The conditioner will make your hair tangle free and manageable.

4. Accessorise your healthy, gorgeous hair. Clips or barrettes can compliment beautiful hair but can cause split ends and snags I have been using Popbands as they have no metal they don't damage my hair, they come in all colours to suit everyones taste!

Bourjois Peach on the Beach

Bourjois jumped on the band wagon and released a lip gloss crayon, which as you are probably aware of as they been raved about over the past months. I first saw them and swatched when they came out last year, but decided to wait before I bought any, but with people claiming they are even better than the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain and the Clinique Chubby sticks which have also proven to be very popular. I decided to give into Superdrugs 3 for 2 offer..

I fell for 'Peach on the beach' as soon as I saw images of it. I just love this shade I have a weakness when I'm faced with anything 'Neon or Coral' and as you can see this shade is both! there are five other shades available in PruneRougeOrange PunchFuchsia LibraRed Sunrise. They retail for £7.99 which is exactly the same as the Revlon lip crayons.

The crayon is so lovely to apply, I immediately felt the hydration on my lips, The colour is lovely and very vibrant perfect for spring/summer. It also VERY glossy, I am very impressed with the colour pay off, ease to apply and longevity - I got a good 4-5hrs.. It states 10hrs but come on who ever believes that?!

Have you joined in with this trend, which are your favourite ones?

Clarins Opalescence Collection - Multi Blushes in Peach & Grenadine.

I finally have the collection! I can definitely say it was worth the wait, it is more beautiful in the flesh the photo's don't do them justice, I have decided seperate posts for each catergory as I think it would be too much in just one, I hope you like it this way?!

Packaged in Clarins’ signature luxury gold packaging, making them products which are perfect inside and out. Firstly I have Peach 01* -  is a gorgeous peachy coral very pretty in the pan and once it's applied to the skin, this is such a summery shade, I think it would be perfect with a bronzed face to add a little flush to your cheeks.

The formula of these blushes is light and applies smoothly. As for the texture, it's definitely not oily or greasy, but I wouldn’t call  it cream-to-powder, it’s creamy enough to blend seamlessly into skin and foundation, The blush itself is matte, but since it’s a cream formula, you’re left which a subtle glow, which looks stunning especially for Spring/Summer.

Grenadine 03*  A beautiful bright red, coral, pink in the pan but a lot more subtle shade, once blended into your cheek, it is very buildable you could adapt to your preference making it as bright or as light to suit your look.

There are four shades in this collection, the other two are 02 Candy and 04 Rosewood which are just as pretty, I may go and purchase them once released to add to my collection!
Available for £18.00 from 1st February (This Friday!!)....

Do you prefer cream or powder blush?
