Soleil Tan de CHANEL Bronzing Makeup Base - Bronze Universal.

Soleil Tan de CHANEL Bronzing Makeup Base is an incredibly flattering bronzer that comes in a velvety smooth creme-gel formula, that literally seems to glide effortlessly on application, to melt seamlessly into your skin.

This is a truly universal shade indeed  - appearing neither too orange, red, or yellow, but a perfect contour colour that will suit practically every skin tone across the spectrum, the effect is so subtle, this is great for fair skins.

It looks very orange at first glance, but it blends away very nicely and is pretty much foolproof. Once on the skin it is absolutely matte – there’s no dewy finish. it just disappears into the skin as though you’ve just dusted on a fine layer of extremely pale bronzing powder, the product  just becomes part of the base.

I apply mine with my Real Techniques stippling brush & wear it underneath my foundation, this gives an amazingly natural contour. Then once I've powdered i will put a light dusting of NYC 'Sunny' over the top to add a little more for nights out.

I really wished they would release this in a travel size (Similar to the tester in the stores) as the packaging as stunning as it is, is just impractical as it is so bulky, but until then i will continue to use my Nars multiple in tuomoto for travelling.

Being a Chanel product, this is a little pricey at £30 for 30ml, but it is a seriously beautiful product, it looks amazing and I imagine it will last a long while.

Nars Blush/Bronzer Trio

It comes in a Stylish zippered compact nylon case with a huge mirror, which is handy for travelling – not a big fan of the design but at least the nylon will be more durable than the usual rubber case which I'm definitely not a fan of!

This trio of Iconic classics together we have NARS Laguna with NARS Orgasm (a shimmery peachy golden pink) & Albatross (a shimmery ivory with a pale gold )

This was a ltd Edition, but i have seen a few still available on Amazon & Ebay, Also keep an eye on Blogsales.

Chanel Blush horizon De Chanel

I had been looking at this for a while as it was part of the Spring 2012 Collection, but couldn't justify spending the full £46 on it. But i managed to pick this little beauty up in a Blogsale Bright Town Girl was having a few months ago for a bargain price.

It's Described as A soft glow blush of five tones inspired by the radiance of the horizon at the light of dawn and as the sun sets. As the light changes throughout the day, the shades of garnet, pink, white, dark peach and light peach entice you to adapt your makeup look to the time and your mood.

As you would expect with a Chanel product, the quality is incredible. The shades really come together to create a wonderful pop of pink with the most brilliant sheen. It applies so well and blends to create such a beautiful flush. I think it looks lovely against fair skin especially when paired it with pink lips.

I am really happy i bought it, I love Chanel, i personally think it is overpriced, but you pay for the name & the Luxury i just love the packaging & everything about the brand.

If you would like to have one of your very own, it is still for sale at Selfridges for £46.00

Chanel illusion d'ombre

I am in love with the Illusion d'Ombre eyeshadows, of which there are six, they are quite possibly the prettiest little pots of metallic magnificence I've ever seen and completely are irresistible

The product comes in a small box and has a mini eyeshadow brush to apply the product with. I personally use my finger to apply & then blend the crease with a fluffy brush.

It's hard to describe the texture, but they are more solid than a cream, bouncier than a gel & not creamy like a mousse. They are just Perfect!

The shade Emerveille (82) is a beautiful soft peach with a golden Champagne shimmer. Looks amazing alone when doing a quick makeup. I love to wear on the inner corner of my eyes.

The Shade Fantasme (81) is a pretty bright white with silvery-white shimmer.

The shade Ebloui (86) is a lovely reddish brown with gold shimmer, leaning to burgendy in certain lights, very shimmery

The shade Illusoire (83), a stunning purple with grey undertones and multi-dimensional sparkles. it's very sparkly but not in an over glittery way, it's more metallic in finish than sheer sparkles, just beautiful!

The shade Epatant (84) is a gorgeous silvery Green with Taupe shimmer, looking subtle & elegant.

The shade Mirifique (85) is an amazing midnight black with Lots of shimmers, which are multi-coloured, with larger silver sparkles. Looks great as a liner or smoked out.

The colours are soft and subtle, with an edge of smokiness, and due to the shimmer they look to be more than just one flat colour, they easily take on different tones depending on how they’re worn and the undertones in the skin.

Very long lasting, easily 12 hours on me & that's without a primer as i always forget to apply it!

Nars Multiple in tuomota

I have always wanted to try a Nars multiple, but decided not to part with my cash as cream blushes & bronzers aren't really for me.
I purchased the Chanel Bronze universal tan de soleil or whatever it is called now! As everyone was raving about it, i was so glad i did as i love it - but that's for another post......
I then saw a Youtube video about this product & it was described as the Travel friendly version of the Chanel tan de dada!! So i had to have it. I started to look for it, but no luck on Nars website, eventually discovered it had been....... Discontinued. I nearly cried!! After lot's of searching I eventually tracked one down on Ebay - brand new :)

It is a bronzing multiple that is matte. I took one look and one swipe and I was sold. This colour is PERFECT for my skin tone, the perfect tan and the perfect contour colour. It is FANTASTIC! It is so natural looking. I am really impressed with this colour. I have no idea why it was discontinued as it is perfect for fain skin tones & the ones they do sell are either too dark or shimmery?

Nars Deep Throat

This Blusher is gorgeous it gives a lovely healthy looking sheen on your cheeks, it is very pigmented so a little goes  long way.

It is perfect for all year round as it can be nice & fresh looking with a tan or give you a nice healthy Rosey look in the winter & would go with any look.

It is a gorgeous warm coral with a hint of pink and a golden shimmer-sheen.

The blush is soft to touch despite it having tiny flecks of golden glitter/shimmer particles,

I guess this is down to the product being finely milled and well pressed. making it a dream to blend onto the cheeks.

This has become a firm favourite in my collection.
