theBalm Nude tude Palette

This amazing palette consists of 12 beautiful shadows that make wearing nudes sexy! These satiny smooth colors can be applied naturally or beautifully layered. The wide range of shades gives you light highlighters as well as brazen bold shades that work to add definition and emphasis to your lids.

I have been dying to get my mitts on this palette for well over a year, but kept telling myself I didn't need another neutrals palette, but it was never far from my eye line with reviews and tutorials, It seemed to be everywhere I looked! Then I saw that Birch Box had started to sell it in their online store, I decided to save and use my reward points to get it I had just under 200 points (£20) meaning I could get it for £6.00 delivered! After a month or so I had managed to get to just over 200 points but I soon realised it was OUT OF STOCK! - The three words I hate to hear!! I was gutted... I think I waited 6 weeks before it was back in stock - Woohoo finally mine :)

The palette does not disappoint, It is very pretty, the shadows are creamy making it very easy to blend in, I have been using it for just about two weeks and have been loving the different looks I can create with it. The shades are...

Sassy is a frosted white with good colour payoff and a buttery, smooth texture. It has a metallic finish.
Stubborn is a light-medium peach with a soft frost finish. It has a frosted finish.
Snobby is a gold shimmered medium-dark yellow. This shade is a bit sheer.
Stand-offish is a light-medium bronze-shimmered brown with warm, red undertones and a frost-metallic finish.
Selfish is a frosted taupe–it’s greyish brown,.
Sophisticated is a dark brown with subtle warm undertones and a bronze shimmer.
Sultry is a warmed-up, medium brown with a satiny finish.

Schitzo is a warm, golden bronze-brown with a soft, pearly finish.
Sexy is rich burgundy with hints of red and brown and a matte finish.
Serious is a medium-dark black with a matte finish.
Silly is a red-tinted brown with flecks of copper sparkle.
Sleek is a dark black-brown with a matte finish.

Some of the shades are a little pale but I use them to neutralise my eyelids or as a transistion shade to blend my look together. Overall this is a great versatile palette, if you are wanting to buy it you can find on most online stores for around £26.00. If you are subscribed to Birch Box use your reward points like me and get yourself a bargain!

Clarins Ombre Matte in Grey Sparkle.

A new cream-to-powder texture that offers the comfort and smoothing effect of a cream with the fine quality and hold of a powder. Silky and lightweight, these eyeshadows are comfortable and easy to apply. A smoothing, mattifying and long-lasting formula that glides over the eyelid and blends evenly into the skin upon application.
A perfect base for a Gorgeous smokey eye for a night out or sorry here goes.. A stunning Christmas look! The shadow blends beautifully over the eye lid and stops eye shadow creasing throughout the day/night. I love this shade it really makes my blue eyes pop.. I imagine it would work great with all eye colours alone or as a base, the Ombre Matte range comes in 6 or more shades which are more matte if that's your thing, but I love a bit of sparkle for a night out.

Lily Lolo Molten Bronze Eye Shadow Quad

Limited Edition Pressed Eye Shadow Quad, containing a peachy sheen to highlight, antique gold and bronze to frame the eyes and shimmering black to use as an eyeliner which when combined ooze sophisticated glamour.

The shadows contain Jojoba oil, which helps to nourish and moisturise. They are long lasting, I'd say it stayed on for about 6-7 hours without creasing. I loved how light weight the formula is, It felt like I wasn't wearing any. Easy to blend and you are able to build the cover up if you are looking for a day to night palette, the shades are really flattering for all eye colours.

I'd not tried shadows before from Lily Lolo but have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and overall finish of the Molten Bronze Quad* , I will definitely like to try more products from this brand in the future. The quad sells for around £18.99 which I don't think is too bad for a mineral product and you get four shadows.

Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash

The Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash includes 5 Travel sized jumbo eye shadow 2.5g  pencils, which i managed to pick up from Fragrance Direct for £12! - Bargain..

The shades you get are :

Delinquent is deep violet with lilac sparkle.

Rehab is a dark red-toned chocolate brown with a tiny bit of taupe.

JuJu is a pale, gilded taupe brown.

Sin is a light pink-beige champagne with a frosted shimmer.

Clash  is a stunning bright blue with silver  sparkle.

They're crease & waterproof, If you're familiar with their 24/7 eye liners, then you'll fall in love with these. I really like these because of how easy they are to wear, use and how long lasting they are. Also, I find that these are more pigmented than the eye liners.

I normally use them alone but they’ll happily mix with any of your favourite shadows, pigments, or minerals to act as a base. Worn alone or with shadow on top I experienced a very long lasting eye look for more than eight hours straight.

If you are on the look out for something like that, at this price they are definitely worth it & would give some amazing Christmas party looks!
