Easy 3-Step Application

Thoroughly clean your eyelashes and eyelids so they are make-up and oil free.

1 - Check Fit:

Align band with the natural lash or lay lash on top of your natural lash line to check fit.  If it extends beyond your lash line, trim the excess with small scissors.

2 - Apply Adhesive:

Squeeze or apply a thin line of adhesive along the lash band (use Ardell Duo lash adhesive or Ardell Lashgrip)  A toothpick can be used to spread it evenly. Wait about 30 seconds for adhesive to set.

3 - Apply Lash:
Place the lash as close to your natural lash line as possible. Use your fingertip to gently press along the band to secure in place.

I have STRAWBERRY SORBET - SWEET MINT - PASSION FRUIT- SUMMER FRUIT, I love everything about them from the cute packaging, lovely Smell & the way the keep my lips in great condition!


They are sold in the USA for around $3, Are really hard to buy in the UK so i had to buy my 1st one - Sweet Mint from eBay, I think I paid about £6-£8 for it & felt ripped off so didn't buy anymore even though I loved them then I saw a new site on Twitter.

To my Amazement they were selling single one's for 99p! & the Trio for £12.99, I snapped them up as postage was also only 99p. I can see Rose's Beauty Store becoming a favourite Website I use to buy my America Beauty Products!!

Out of the four flavours I now own Sweet Mint is my favourite, it is such a lovely Strong, fresh, sweet scent but also tastes minty too.

Maybelline Barely Branded Colour Tattoo

Maybelline Barely Branded Colour Tattoo Metal Eyeshadow  is a warm, creamy beige with a frosted, metallic finish. I had to buy this from eBay as Maybelline have let us down again by not releasing it across the pond! This is probably one of my favourites along with On & On Bronze, as it is easily applied for a simple look.

It has a lovely smooth Texture, great lasting power & good pigmentation. To me it is a fantastic Dupe of  MAC's Bare Study paint pot, but it's just a little bit lighter, but on the eye you'd never tell the difference! They also sell for a fraction of the price.

This shade is very versatile and can easily become a go-to eyeshadow base. The shimmer when it
sheers out is nice, and what I liked most about it was that it sheered out evenly so it could be easily
used as a wash of color for when you’re in a rush!
I really do not understand why Maybelline have not brought out these neutral colours in the UK as I personally think they'd be a massive hit?!

Liz Earle Smoothing Line Serum

I have been using Liz Earle Smoothing Line Serum* at night, I apply the light, oil-free serum after moisturising to help plump and firm my skin around the eyes, lips, forehead. It is a Lovely texture, which sinks in beautifully and certainly minimises my lines. 

I have been using this serum around 3-4wks and i am very pleased with the results. Obviously I don't expect a miracle, but this leaves my skin feeling hydrated and best of all for me I can use it around my eyes as some eye creams really sting once I've applied it.

It contains Naturally active ingredients include antioxidant grapeseed extract and soothing echinacea.

Ginvera Green Tea BB Cream

I have tried various different BB Creams since they appeared last Year. I really like my Garnier BB oil free cream, so I was really Intrigued to try a more traditional formula. The Green Tea Nude Cover* offers SPF which is rather impressive, before you even consider coverage, moisture and anti-ageing properties

It also promises to moisturise and nourish the skin, This does add a little moisture without making my combination skin going oily. It brightens and evens my skin tone, it covers almost like a full coverage foundation but without feeling heavy.

The Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream comes in one shade which it states to suit all shade,

I'm not sure if this is true as it is fairly light and could possibly go ashy on darker skin tones, but for me it is a great match. I also like that it is an SPF 30 which protects against harmful UV rays.

Even though the formula is thick, It is easily applied, I find it can be a little tacky for a couple of minutes after application, once it is absorbed by the skin it dries like any other foundation, it does not clog, cake or feel uncomfortable on the skin, it hide's flaws such as enlarged pores, fine lines or dry areas of the face.

I really liked using this BB Cream, it made my skin look lovely & bright, lasting a good 8hrs on me before it required a touch up.

I don't know about you, but I absolutely love Hair oils especially Argan oil to use on my hair to keep it in condition & from going frizzy. So when i discovered Argan oil for the face, I was slightly concerned as I thought it would be too heavy for my face as I have Combination skin & it would break me out.

I decided to give it a try & I am so glad I did, it's an oil but once applied it absorbs quickly into the skin & you are left with lovely plump, smooth hydrated skin.

I also feel that over the last 4 weeks of using this oil,  it has balanced my skin as it seems less oily & i no longer have dry patches.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Chance

This is the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in the shade 'Chance' (#56). Rouge Coco Shine is a range of hydrating sheer lipsticks that feel light and glide with ease on the lips; the lipstick almost feels like it's melting on your lips! It has the potential to keep your lips hydrated for 8 hours due to the Hydratender complex, which is, supposedly, the secret behind the softness of the Rouge Coco range.

I chose the shade 'Chance', a soft pink shade with a warm coral tint, as it is such a pretty easy to wear shade, I can't fault this lipstick. It's super soft and moisturising and the staying power is pretty good for a lipstick that leaves so much moisture on the lips.

This is such a Gorgeous nude Pink with a little shimmer in the most beautiful packaging, I love everything about this product & I'm never ashamed to whip it out of my Handbag to reapply when i'm out & about! (If fact i do it even when i don't need to!)

My New Glasses....

I have had to wear Glasses since I was around 10 Yrs old, my first pair were a fetching Blue Plastic aka Deirdre Barlow style!

(These aren't the actual ones, but similar! Oh Dear!!)

Over the years the frames have become smaller, but my prescription gradually got worse, I'm guessing due to age & Computer work!

I have always bought my glasses from a high street opticians as I can try on different styles, even though I always end up getting the same style/shape as I know it suits my face shape! I also thought it they would be better quality etc.. But as I need to have my lenses thinned to stop them looking like jam jars due to my high prescription they cost me around £400 every time my prescription changes - Just think of all the Make up I could of bought with that!!

A week or so ago I was browsing the internet & came across the online opticians Gregory Pex who offer prescription glasses and sunglasses for men and women at  up to 80% off the high street. I started looking at the styles & noticed how much cheaper it was online than in store, at least £200 cheaper!!

I found a pair of Gant Semi-Rimless for £50.00 & the rest is history they are now mine!

It is so simple, all you have to do is add your chosen glasses to your basket, choose the lense type, choose the lens thickness, add your prescription, check out & wait for a knock on your front door!

I really don't know why I hadn't thought about purchasing my glasses online before now, the whole experience has been brilliant, Gordon from Gregory Pex dealt with me from the beginning & updated me via email on every step.

It states on the site "Buying cheap glasses online no longer means poor quality. All prescriptions are made here in the U.K and every order is supervised by our Optometrists."

The glasses took 3 days! to arrive, Even though my lenses are a special order prescription & Easter Weekend Bank Holidays, so I think this is Fantastic! The glasses are very sturdy & very well made, just as if I had bought them from a high Street opticians! I am so Impressed & will definatley be making all my future purchases online from now on & keeping the extra £200 to spend on Beauty :)

My make-up applies like a dream over it – I don't need a primer at all. The sunscreen doesn’t rub off when you are blending your foundation. as far as I can see it leaves no white cast. It hasn’t clogged my skin and so far (2 weeks of using it) there are no breakouts. It is (relatively) cheap, matte and with decent sun protection. 

As far as I know, Bioderma sunscreens have very high amount of UVA protection. I only wish that they made a Higher SPF version of this.

Barry M Pastel nails

The latest nail trend to hit the shelves are Barry M's Textured Polishes. They're just like regular creme polishes filled with tiny 'Gritty' bits, to give a bumpy feel and are a matte finish.

They apply like a dream and are fast drying. Also easily Removed. I was slightly concerned they'd be a nightmare to take off as the glitter polishes, but they swipe off very easily with nail polish remover.

This is Ridley Road, a lovely bright Mint colour, perfect for Spring on Fingers & Toes.

This is probably my favourite of the four, It's a very creamy pastel pink called Kingsland Road, very pretty for Spring & would look great with a tan in Summer.

Station Road is a yellow polish, It's very bright and just not a colour that I can wear with my skin tone as I'm too pale, so this would have to be my least favourite, but it is a lovely yellow as some can look almost dirty.

Atlantic Road, Is a gorgeous powdery pastel blue which i think would suit any skin tone perfectly.

I think this collection is a great one to have for Spring & Summer is has a perfect mix of shades to suit everyone, the only thing i would of changed was maybe add a lilac shade?
