You don't have to use a powder, you can skip this step but by using powder you will set your liquid foundation, keeping it looking fresh & Flawless. You need to just give your skin a light dusting & make sure you blend it in properly to prevent you looking cakey, the powder is purely there to keep you looking shine free, you could also try using it lightly in your T-Zone to see if it prolongs your make up or invest in some good Blotting paper Sheets.
