Bioderma photoderm AKN mat SPF 30 Matifying fluid

I have been looking for a Matifying facial sun cream for a while & the instant phrases that grabbed my attention were “Texture Invisible”, “Matifying sun fluid”, “Combination or oily skin”, “Invisible” and “water resistant”, So when I found Bioderma photoderm AKN mat SPF 30 Matifying fluid*. I knew i had to try it out.

The high anti-UVB efficacy and unmatched anti-UVA performance of Photoderm AKN Matsafely protect against sunburn.
A major advance against risks of cell damage, its exclusive patented Cellular BIOprotection® complex* provides optimum protection for the skin cells.
The sebo-regulating Fluidactiv® complex*, a BIODERMA innovation, improves sebum quality and helps to keep the skin clear and healthy. Photoderm AKN Mat guarantees a long-term Matifying effect. Colourless when applied, Photoderm AKN Mat leaves no oily film and no white marks. Photoderm AKN Mat guarantees excellent tolerance. It is non-comedogenic and photo-stable.

The consistency is relatively thick and this certainly is not one of those products where a little goes a long way. It is a good daily sunscreen. Upon application, it feels very thick and sticky, but after a couple of minutes – it immediately transforms to a lightweight matte texture and it stays matte for the whole day. I have Combination/Oily skin and it hasn’t made my skin any shinier, nor made it dry.

My make-up applies like a dream over it – I don't need a primer at all. The sunscreen doesn’t rub off when you are blending your foundation. as far as I can see it leaves no white cast. It hasn’t clogged my skin and so far (2 weeks of using it) there are no breakouts. It is (relatively) cheap, matte and with decent sun protection.
As far as I know, Bioderma sunscreens have very high amount of UVA protection. I only wish that they made a Higher SPF version of this.

Do you use a separate Sun Cream on your face?
